Menopause home test kit. Why would I use a home
menopause test?
If you
are experiencing hot flushes, irritability, irregular cycles, night
sweats, depression, forgetfulness, loss of libido, vaginal dryness and
insomnia you may be experiencing the onset of menopause. These symptoms are early signs of menopause and this simple
home menopause test kit will help you to find out for sure.
What does the
Menopause Test tell me?
This home menopause test performed in the privacy
of your own home. The test gives a reliable indication that you have
had your last period and therefore have reached the post-menopausal
stage. Women reach the menopause on average at 51, however there is a
wide variation between 39 & 59. Knowing you have reached
the menopause means that you can consider hormone replacement therapy,
perhaps make diet changes and lifestyle changes as well as put your
mind at rest.
Which hormone is
measured?
The test detects an
increase in FSH, occuring when you reach the menopause. It
remains at a higher level for about three to five years after your
last period, meaning that
tests performed during this time are reliable.
How do I perform the
test?
Simply hold the test stick
in the urine stream for two to three seconds and then insert it into
the test rack in the rear of the box. Read off the results after a few
minutes.
What does the
result tell me?
If two violet lines
appear in the window and the colour of the top line is much more
intense than the bottom line, you have not yet reached the menopause.
The same applies if only one line appears. If two violet lines appear
in the window and the colour of the bottom line is equally or more
intense than the top line, your test result is positive. If the home
menopause test is positive you should consult your doctor for further
advice. You should not stop using contraception until advised
to do so by your doctor.
Thanks for considering our
home menopause test
